Items are collectible NFTs that heroes equip to increase their stats and progress further (and faster) in the game. Like any NFT, they will be tradable in the Marketplace and you will be able to collect them, as well as equip and use them on your heroes within Heroes Lineage.

The items are divided by levels. There is a minimum level requirement to equip each level:

Rarity

Each Item Tier will have six different rarities:

• Common

• Uncommon

• Rare

• Epic

• Legendary

• Mythic

The higher the rarity, the better the stats of the item will have. That means that a Tierless Epic sword, will have similar stats to a Tier-D Rare sword, or a Tier-C Common sword. Here an image for a better understanding:

Does that mean that a level 1 character with a Tierless Epic sword, will be as powerful and will be able to do the same game content as a level 40 character with a Tier-C Common sword? Both have a similar attack.

No. Level makes a big difference in the stats and the skills of your heroes. A level 1 character will never be able to compare with a lvl 40, regardless the rarity of their items.

What are then the advantages of having high rarity equipment?

The benefits of having high rarity items are:

• You will be able to do your daily missions faster. "Time is money friend" a goblin said... that sentence is nowadays more true than ever. You are probably into other NFT's games, and you are too probably wondering how much this game will require. If you value your time, having good items will pay off as you will be able to do the daily content/misions faster (i.e 25 minutes instead of 40).

• You will be able to progress further into the game without needing to upgrade to higher Tier items. With a Tierless Epic weapon you won't need to upgrade it once you reach level 20, since the attack power will still be pretty good, equivalent to a Tier D Rare weapon.

If I get a high rarity tierless item, will it be useless once I progress in the game and unlock more advanced Tiers like D or C?

No. Tierless items (or low tier items in general) will still be valuable. Anyone that joins the game, or any player in general that wants to level new heroes (and there will be many reasons to do so), will probably navigate the marketplace in search of that low tier gear. It could also be a good option to keep the items for you in case you want to start a new hero with a nice equipment boost since the start.
